It is now a multi-billion-dollar industry involving professional teams, official leagues, sponsorship contracts worth millions of Ringgit, and audiences that rival the world's biggest traditional sports. And Malaysia is right at the heart of this revolution — not as a bystander, but as an active participant gaining increasing recognition on the international stage.
At coki88, we make sure every Malaysian esports fan has the best platform to follow and join the excitement of esports betting — in a simple, secure, and rewarding way. Malaysia has an outstanding foundation for e-sports growth. High internet penetration, a large young population, and a deep passion for gaming have made Malaysia one of the most active e-sports markets in Southeast Asia. With smartphones now a daily essential, mobile titles like Mobile Legends and Free Fire — the pillars of the local e-sports scene — are more accessible than ever.
The Malaysian government has officially recognised e-sports as a legitimate sport under the National Sports Council, and Malaysian e-sports teams have represented the country at the SEA Games, Asian Games, and various other international tournaments. This brings a sense of national pride that makes e-sports betting at coki88 all the more meaningful — especially when Malaysian teams are competing on the world stage.
If one game could be called the face of Malaysian e-sports, it would be Mobile Legends: Bang Bang. Developed by Moonton, MLBB has become a phenomenon across Southeast Asia, with Malaysia being one of the most active countries in its ecosystem. MPL Malaysia, which launched in 2019, has grown into a highly professional league with live-broadcast matches and an incredibly loyal fanbase.
At coki88, every MPL Malaysia match is open for betting with over 60 different markets — from match winner and map handicap to total kills in the first map, first blood, and MVP of the match. This delivers a far deeper betting experience than simply picking who wins.
The International is the most anticipated e-sports event of the year for Dota 2 fans worldwide — including many in Malaysia. Total prize pools funded through the Battle Pass system have reached tens of millions of dollars, making it the largest prize pool in e-sports history. Southeast Asian teams like Talon Esports, Blacklist International, and Team Oman have been among the standout performers in past editions.
At coki88, markets for The International open well before the tournament begins — giving you the chance to secure better odds by predicting the overall tournament winner early. Once the tournament is underway, in-play betting is available for every round with odds updated in real time based on how each match develops.

Its blend of CS:GO-style tactical gameplay with unique hero abilities has drawn millions of new players — including a growing number of Malaysians now competing at the highest levels. VCT Pacific is the Asia-Pacific VALORANT league, bringing together the region's top teams, several of which feature Malaysian players.
VALORANT Betting at coki88 offers over 55 market types for every VCT match — from overall winner and map handicap to first blood, first to 13 rounds on a specific map, and total rounds played. Keep in mind that even with deep knowledge of a particular esports title, no one can predict match outcomes with certainty — upsets happen all the time in this fast-moving competitive scene.
